One of the new state-of-the-art, fully equipped, Peugeot Boxer ambulances, recently received by the Euromedica group, was introduced in Rhodes for the needs of the Euromedica General Clinic of Dodecanese. Its supply is part of the renewal of the equipment and infrastructure of the clinic, which covers the medical needs of Rhodes and the Dodecanese and is in full readiness to serve the additional needs of the tourist season.
The Euromedica General Clinic of Dodecanese started its operation back in November 2006, in brand new, high tech and fully equipped facilities covering an area of 12,500sq.m. in the Municipal Community of Koskinou in Rhodes. The ambulances are part of the outpatient clinics, which are equipped with the latest technology and operate 24 hours a day, providing high quality care.
In the context of continuous upgrade of the clinic’s services , the Euromedica Group, with the support of the American investment fund Farallon, has already invested approximately 2 million euros in the unit.
In this context, it has proceeded to:
- Upgrade and renewal of the operating equipment with the latest technology laparoscopic towers
- The supply of new imaging machines for the full range of diagnostic and invasive examinations, including a new digital mammogram.
- The supply of 64-section CT scanner with the possibility of cardiography, as well as the complete upgrade of the 1.5 Tesla MRI scanner, with the possibility of all examinations, including MRI, while all ultrasounds have been renewed.
- In the complete renewal of the equipment of the endoscopic department with new ultra-high definition 4K instruments.
The group’s investments in the clinic continue with the aim of constantly renewing and expanding the medical equipment, operating new departments, while promoting new collaborations with doctors.
