International Mother’s Day in 2025 will be celebrated on Sunday, May 11, as in Greece it is honored every year on the second Sunday of May. It was established in the United States in the early 20th century, when Anna Maria Jarvis, inspired by her socially active mother, organized the first official celebration in 1908. A few years later, in 1914, President Woodrow Wilson signed a proclamation designating the second Sunday of May as a national holiday in honor of mothers.
International Mother’s Day is an important opportunity to express our love, gratitude, and respect to all mothers, recognizing their invaluable role as pillars of care, stability, and emotional support within the family and society.
At the Euromedica Group, we actively demonstrate our ongoing support for women and especially the institution of motherhood, as approximately 82% of employees in our diagnostic centers are women, of whom 50% are mothers. We acknowledge the contribution and achievements of mothers within our organization and thank them for being a source of inspiration and a driving force behind our success!
On the occasion of this day, and with the intention of standing by every woman and her needs, the Euromedica Group offers preventive check-up packages at special privileged prices. Specifically, interested women can choose one of the two specially designed packages: Women’s Check-Up up to 40 years old and Women’s Check-Up over 40 years old. This initiative is valid for women who call and schedule their appointment between May 9 and June 9, 2025, at all of the Group’s diagnostic centers throughout Greece.
These preventive screening offers are part of the Euromedica Group’s Corporate Social Responsibility Program.
