Father’s Day – Preventive Screenings

Father’s Day is a moveable celebration dedicated to honoring fatherhood, paternal bonds, and the social contribution of fathers around the world.
In Greece and most countries, it is celebrated on the third Sunday of June.
In 2025, this day falls on Sunday, June 15. The first Father’s Day event was organized by Grace Golden Clayton on July 5, 1908, in Fairmont, West Virginia, in honor of the fathers who had died in the Monongah mining disaster. Two years later, on June 19, 1910, in Spokane, Washington, Sonora Smart Dodd held the first official Father’s Day celebration, inspired by Mother’s Day and in recognition of her father, a veteran of the American Civil War.

Father’s Day is a meaningful opportunity to highlight the role of fathers in both the family and society. We thank all fathers for the love, care, and protection they offer their children, their essential contribution to raising them, and their equal participation in family life, especially in an era where fatherhood is being redefined beyond traditional stereotypes.

On the occasion of Father’s Day and in support of every father and his needs, the Euromedica Group is offering special preventive screening packages at exclusive discounted prices. Specifically, interested individuals can choose one or more of the three specially designed packages: Men’s Check-up up to 40 years old, Men’s Check-up over 40 years old, and Prostate Check-up. This offer is valid for those who contact and schedule their appointment between June 10 and July 10, 2025, at all Euromedica diagnostic centers across Greece.

These preventive screening offers are part of the Euromedica Group’s Corporate Social Responsibility Program.
