Computed Tomography (CT) is an ultra-analytical imaging technique that uses X-rays and can accurately visualise many parts of the body, including the brain, lungs, bones, soft tissues, heart and even the oral cavity.
The CT scan examination is painless and of short duration, as with modern CT scanners it can be done in a time frame ranging from 10 to 20 minutes, taking into account the preparation time required. During the examination, and depending on the type of examination, a contrast medium may be administered to improve visualisation of the site
Euromedica’s CT scanners are state-of-the-art, with the main feature being the drastic reduction of radiation in the examinations and the excellent quality of the images.
