The day after becoming ill with Covid-19 is not always an easy task, as the chances of developingLong–Covid or Post–Covid syndrome are high for people who are ill and typically recovered.
The term “Long-Covid syndrome” describes symptoms and complications that persist or appear 4 weeks after SARS-COV-2 infection and may involve the immunological, respiratory, cardiovascular, neurological, muscular, gastrointestinal, urinary, endocrine and cardiometabolic systems.
When symptoms such as fatigue, cough, shortness of breath, weakness, joint or muscle pain, rashes, ague or anosmia, memory problems, headache, orthostatic hypotension, sleep problems and diarrhoea, which are the most common, persist months after the acute phase of the disease has subsided, then the patient should take action.
The Post-Covid Check is necessary in order to diagnose Long-Covid syndrome in time and treat it appropriately. It includes laboratory testing and in particular the following tests:
