Informing potential employees about the processing of their personal data

In compliance with the General Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data (hereinafter referred to as “GDPR”), the EUROMEDICA Group provides prospective employees or those candidates who proceed to an interview with the companies of the EUROMEDICA Group with this information regarding the processing of their personal data.

Specifically, the Data Controller of your personal data is the limited liability company with the name “EUROMEDICA S.A. FOR THE PROVISION OF MEDICAL SERVICES – PRIVATE CLINICS – PRIVATE DIAGNOSTIC LABORATORIES – PRIVATE POLYPHARMACY”, with registered office in Chalandri, Attica, 357-359 Mesogeion Avenue, with VAT number 801691814 (contact tel. 210-3686600, info@euromedica.netsteps-websites.gr) (hereinafter the “Company”).

WHAT DATA DO WE PROCESS ABOUT YOU?

The personal data we collect and process (e.g. access, qualification assessment, storage, registration, deletion) are your identification and contact details, information regarding your professional and academic life, as well as any other information you have included in your CV.

In the event that you are invited to proceed with an interview with one of our representatives, we may also collect data that will arise during your interview, as well as the assessments that will be carried out by our representative, who will meet with you to conduct the interview.

The processing of this data takes place by authorized employees of the Human Resources Department and the individual competent departments (depending on your specialty), in compliance with all necessary technical and organizational measures that have been taken for the security, confidentiality and assurance of the integrity and availability of the data that is processed and with the exclusive purpose of evaluating your qualifications for the position for which you are interested or for another potential position in one of the Group’s companies.

WHAT ARE THE PURPOSES AND LEGAL BASES OF THE PROCESSING OF YOUR DATA?

The purposes and legal bases of the processing by the Company of your above personal data are the following:

(a) The satisfaction of the Company’s legitimate interest, for the appropriate and comprehensive evaluation and final selection of the candidate.

(b) The execution of a contract in terms of compliance with the terms, during the pre-contractual stage, evaluation and selection of candidates.

FOR HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR DATA?

In the event of your non-employment, we will keep your personal data for a period of one (1) year, in order to resolve any outstanding issues and provide any clarifications regarding the candidacies within this period. After the completion of this period, your data will be permanently deleted, in a secure and unrecoverable manner. In the event of your employment, we will keep your data for as long as required by applicable law.

We take strict technical and organizational security measures to protect your data from unlawful processing, accidental or unlawful destruction, accidental loss, alteration, prohibited dissemination or access, and any other form of unlawful processing, as well as to prevent access to them by unauthorized persons, in accordance with the provisions of applicable law.

WHO ARE THE RECIPIENTS OF YOUR DATA?

The recipients of your data are the employees of the Human Resources Department and the individual competent departments of the Company and the employees/executives of the Company who are responsible for the screening and evaluation of the submitted CVs.

The Company may disclose your personal data to companies belonging to the same group of companies as it, in order to satisfy its legitimate interest in meeting the staffing needs of the Group’s companies and specifically for the purposes of evaluating and maintaining a relevant file of candidate employees.

We do not transfer your personal data to third countries outside the EU.

WHAT RIGHTS DO YOU HAVE REGARDING THE PROCESSING OF YOUR DATA AND HOW CAN YOU EXERCISE THEM?

You are entitled to access the personal data we hold about you at any time. In addition, you have the right to request the correction of your personal data, as well as to exercise the right to erasure, the right to restriction of processing, the right to data portability and the right to object to the processing of your data. Finally, you have the right to file a complaint with the

Greek Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr), in case of a breach of your personal data.
