Founded in 1991 and integrated into the Euromedica Group in 2008, the Ippokratis Nikaia Diagnostic Center has experienced significant growth and development since then. The center stays at the forefront of the latest medical advancements by continuously updating and modernizing its medical technology. The center features a fully equipped imaging department, with a highlight being the open MRI scanner Aperto by Hitachi Medical Systems. With a 320° opening, it offers greater comfort and is especially beneficial for claustrophobic patients, reducing anxiety and enhancing the overall experience. Advanced techniques such as MR Fluoroscopy, diffusion weighted imaging (DWI), and others are applied, supporting a wide range of clinical applications including brain and neck angiography, mediastinal vessel imaging, and renal artery imaging.
The center also houses neurology and gastroenterology clinics, and its equipment is specially designed to accommodate pediatric diagnostic procedures, with a focus on the safety and needs of children.
Ippokratis Nikaia Diagnostic Center is contracted with EOPYY and all public insurance funds, ensuring broad access to its services. It is certified according to the international standard ISO 9001:2015, and its laboratory is accredited by the Hellenic Accreditation System (ESYD) for clinical testing, in accordance with ELOT EN ISO 15189:2012, confirming strict compliance with high standards of quality and reliability.
