The five-story medical facility has been fully renovated—both structurally and in terms of medical equipment—transforming it into a cutting-edge center featuring state-of-the-art technology. It provides excellent hospitality areas for patients, with specialized lighting and ventilation in waiting and examination rooms. In collaboration with General Electric Healthcare, the center has installed innovative, next-generation medical technology. It also partners with top radiologists who possess extensive experience and academic credentials, ensuring full utilization of its advanced equipment.
The Egκefalos Chalandri center is home to Greece’s first Revolution APEX 512 CT scanner by GE Healthcare, designed for the highest diagnostic accuracy with the lowest radiation dose. It also houses two advanced GE Healthcare MRI systems: the 1.5T SIGNA™ HD28 and the 3.0T SIGNA™ Premier AIR™—the latter being the first installed in Greece and Southeastern Europe, offering diagnostic and research-level imaging with cutting-edge technologies.
This combination of equipment and expert collaborations makes Egkefalos Chalandri a GE Healthcare Imaging Technology Reference Center (Center of Excellence), integrated into the global network of centers where new diagnostic techniques are developed.
The center also offers a range of clinical specialties with the ability to issue test prescriptions, including Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, Rheumatology, Cardiology, and Ophthalmology.
The Euromedica Eggefalos Chalandri Diagnostic Center is contracted with EOPYY and other public insurance funds and operates under a quality management system certified according to ISO 9001:2015, ensuring top-tier medical services.
