The center specializes exclusively in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), featuring the cutting-edge Siemens Magnetom Vida 3T—a scanner with a powerful magnetic field that brings advanced technology to diagnostic imaging.
The Siemens Magnetom Vida incorporates advanced BioMatrix Technology, which customizes the operation based on each patient’s individual needs, considering body morphology as well as cardiac and respiratory rates. This innovation reduces motion artifacts and makes examinations more comfortable, especially for vulnerable groups such as claustrophobic patients. With a 70 cm bore diameter, the scanner offers greater comfort compared to traditional machines, while its increased speed allows scans to be completed in under 2 minutes, such as knee MRI.
The capabilities of the Magnetom Vida 3T are impressive, supporting advanced software like Twist, which enables multi-phase image acquisitions during contrast passage in vascular structures. The center also offers dynamic breast studies, excellent imaging for patients who have difficulty holding their breath (elderly, children), and specialized exams such as multiparametric prostate MRI and MRCP.
