Every year, on December 3rd<\/strong>, we honor the International Day of Persons with Disabilities<\/strong>, a day dedicated to the rights, dignity, and participation of all people with disabilities in social, professional, and personal life. The day was established by the UN in 1992 and reminds us that disability is not only a medical condition, but also a call for a society that embraces diversity and ensures equal opportunities for everyone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 2025 Message: Inclusive Societies \u2013 Societies that Progress<\/strong><\/h4><\/div>\n\n\n\n

This year\u2019s international theme, \u201cFostering disability-inclusive societies for advancing social progress\u201d<\/em>,<\/strong> highlights the crucial importance of promoting policies and practices that enhance accessibility, equality, and participation for persons with disabilities. A society that removes barriers \u2013 physical, social, institutional \u2013 is a society that moves forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The International Day of Persons with Disabilities reminds us that disability is part of human diversity. Acceptance and equal participation are not privileges but human rights<\/strong>, and society must adapt to people\u2019s needs, not the other way around.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
