Father ‘sDay <\/strong>, celebrated this year on Sunday 16 June, is in honour of the father, paternal ties and generally the influence of fathers in society. It has been celebrated since 1908 , starting in the USA, and is in fact a celebration that aims to show that the role of the father is just as important as that of the mother since too often in our society fathers take a back seat . <\/p>\n\n

On the occasion of the Day, the EuromedicaGroup<\/strong> offers screening tests in all diagnostic centres at preferential prices. In particular, two packages of screening tests are offered , one for prostate and one for lipid screening. <\/strong> <\/p>\n\n

Prostate cancer is the second most common malignancy in men, and usually in the early stages it is an asymptomatic disease. Prostate screening with PSA, & bladder-prostate ultrasound<\/strong> can lead to early diagnosis. Men over 50 years of age should have an initial screening, and in certain cases screening is also carried out in men under 50. <\/p>\n\n

The heart is the most valuable organ in the human body<\/strong>. It is a physical pump, the size of a fist, that takes blood from the veins and sends it to the arteries.
